Venue Accessibility

Leopardstown Racecourse is fully accessible for wheelchair users and disabled racegoers.

Customers with a disability can access most areas of the racecourse using a number of lifts. There is a lift located outside the racing hall which gives access to second and third levels of The Grandstand Building – The Panoramic Suite, Private Suite and Circle Lounge. There is also a lift in the main Grandstand building giving access to all floors including The 1888 Restaurant and Leopardstown Lounge.

PLEASE NOTE

  • Wheelchair users and patrons with a disability may bring a carer into Leopardstown Racecourse free of charge. 
  • Disabled parking and main entrance drop off are available

There are also a number of accessible toilets located as follows:

Main Grandstand Building: 

  • Downstairs: Situated in the Tote Hall to the left of the Tote Counters.   
  • Second Floor: There are facilities in the toilet block behind Leopardstown Lounge. There is also an additional disabled toilet available for guests in the 1888 Restaurant or Annual Members only
  • Third Floor: Toilet facilities are located on the third floor near the ramp before the Larkspur Bar.  There is also another disabled toilet located on the other side of the Circle Lounge.

Racing Hall

  •  A male and a female disabled toilet are located in the toilet block either side of the entrance               

Old Racecourse Office: 

  • Since the racecourse office moved the area opposite the Racing Hall was turned into an additional toilet block, one accessible toilet is located here.  

New Weigh Room Building

  • Located in the toilet block behind the winners suite.

Pavilion

  • The Leopardstown Pavilion is fully wheelchair accessible with an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities
